How
do I get to Puglia?
Of
course you can drive to Puglia in Southern Italy from
wherever in Europe, but this takes its time. The easiest
way is to go by plane. If you want both to fly and drive,
you can fly into Rome (approx. 7 hours drive from Puglia)
or into Naples (approx. 3 hours drive to Puglia).
How to
fly down to Puglia?
You
can fly to Rome, Naples, Venice or Milan and from there
with Alitialia or
Air One to Bari or Brindisi.
Brindisi
airport is only 30 minutes drive from Villa Colonnata.

From U.K.: You can go by Ryanair
from Stanstead to Brindisi or Bari. This is probably
the cheapest way to go. British
Airways fly from Gatwick, London to Bari.
Easy
Jet fly from Gatwick to Bari.
Several airlines go to different destinations in Italy,
and then you can fly with Alitalia or AirOne to Brindisi
or Bari.
From
Norway.: You can go by SAS
or Norwegian
to Rome - Fiumicino, and from there with Alitalia to
Bari or Brindisi. It is also possible to go with Alitalia
or KLM
from several cities in Norway to Bari or Brindisi.
You will probably have two stops, but your luggage will
go through all the way and you will go in transit on
the airports. This way the airline will be responsible
if there is a delay.
