"Move"
to Puglia for a while and see how it works
Moving
to a foreign country can be different to what you think.
Don't spend a lot of money, time and energy until you
know what it is like to live here. By staying in Villa
Colonnata while looking for your ideal house, you will
experience what living in the area will really be like
instead of staying in a hotel or a B&B.
While
you experience the area, you will have plenty of time
to look for the property of your dreams. We know some
thrustable agents (who speak english), and we are happy
to help you to get in touch with them. It is much easier,
and of course much cheaper, to spend some weeks here
looking for property than to fly home and then come
back to Puglia, maybe several times to look at properties.
When you know the area better and know the different
small communities, it will also be easier for you to
decide where you want to live.
We have been through it all; looking for property, negotiating,
writing contract, getting in touch with craftsmen, making
decisions about what is urgent to do and what can wait,
setting up bank account etc., etc.
A
lot of properties are for sale in the area. Some are
ready to move into, some need renovating before you
can move into your dream house.
Because of own experience we can offer our services;
we know italian law and know the common procudures when
buying a property, trustworthy agents and diffent kind
of reliable craftsmen. We can be your local representative
while you are away etc. Tell us what you need. Click

Holidays in Puglia:
Because
Puglia is not yet saturated by tourists outside Italy,
the area is the "real" Italy. Here you visit
small shops; sometimes you are hardly able to find them
because they have no big signs. The piazza (the open
area in the midlle of the town) is full of men at daytime,
women seem to be at home coocking, but women are always
welcome. You can enjoy the world's most tasteful cappucino
in the small cafés or coffee bars. In the evenings the
narrow streets in the charming cities are crowded with
local people. Families are out eating dinner together
or just meet in the piazza for a chat. The "passagiata"
or evening stroll is a favourite Italian pastime.
Are
you interested in Italian culture, music, architecture,
nature? You have come to the right place.
Wheather
you like cooking yourself or going out to eat, you will
enjoy fabulous meals made of fresh local produce, accompanied
by tasteful wines from the area.
